Shield is a customer-led organization, it encourages long term relationships with customers and prospects alike. Many of Shield's customers enjoy the benefit of identifying enhancements which we ultimately add to our development plans. Products such as our Receiver Apply Program and JobQGenie product were all developed after customer requests for assistance. We have expertise in the High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) market and with the data replication technology Remote Journalling. The products are all packaged as IBM Licensed Program Products which eases the installation and subsequent management of the installed product. Our FTP product was developed to cover the security of the AS/400 FTP services but also resulted in a Client program which has a PC like look and feel with its managed links.
We provide links to other products which support the HA market space, the recent merger of iTera, Vision and Lakeview will eventually result in the removal of some links once the company provides new links. We do not recommend any of the products listed and would strongly suggest you fully review the product and its capabilities before you buy one. As an IBM Advanced Business Partner and member of the "Partner World for Developers" program, we keep abreast of emerging technologies provided by IBM. We eventually pass this knowledge on to the customers via new products and product enhancements.
